Overview
The Ohio State Application Self Service, of just Self Service, on Macintosh contains many useful software packages.
Installing via Self Service does not require an administrative account, and ensures your machine gets the OSU approved package.
Self Service also contains some maintenance items that can assist with fixing your Mac when directed by a tech.
Launching Self Service
From the Jamf Connect menu:
Pick "Install new software" from the Jamf Connect icon on the menu bar
Using Spotlight:
Click on the magnifying glass in the upper-right corner of your screen:
Then search for Self Service.
Using Self Service
You can find most programs available for install here.
If the program you're looking for isn't immediately visible, you can try searching, using the search bar shown below.
Click the Install button below whichever application you're looking for and wait for it to finish.
