Warranties
ASC Computer Replacement Program Computers
Note, standard computers from the ASC Computer Replacement Program have a minimal warranty, as we stock spares. If a replacement computer has a hardware issue we will take an equivalent machine from spares, which may be new or a repaired machine. This will become your machine so you do not have to restore files a second time.
Lenovo Warranty
All Lenovos include a Premier 4 year on site warranty. Standard laptops include accidental damage protection by default, but check with ASCTech - though it is included by default some people opt out of accidental damage or have us obtain custom quotes without. ASCTech does not recommend accidental damage on desktop machines.
Dell Warranty
All Dells include a ProSupport Plus warranty, since April 2024. Since late 2020: Standard laptops include accidental damage protection by default, but check with ASCTech - though it is included by default some people opt out of accidental damage or have us obtain custom quotes without. ASCTech does not recommend accidental damage on desktop machines.
Dell ExpressCharge batteries have a one year warranty.
Apple Warranty Description
- Apple computers should be purchased with AppleCare+. The cost of Apple Care+ will vary by model.
- Apple Care+ is available in a 3 or 4 year plan.
- Since Autumn 2021, Mac laptops have no incident fees, desktops still have incident fees for accidental damage.
