Service Description:
Research data management facilitates research by protecting and extracting value from research data throughout the entire lifecycle, from acquisition to archival, and across all Arts and Sciences disciplines, from transferring large data sets to complying with IRB guidelines.
Eligibility:
Available to all research groups within the College of Arts & Sciences.
Standard Availability:
Requests fulfilled during normal business hours.
What Is Included:
This is a broad service that can include many other service providers, both within and external to ASCTech. For example, within ASCTech we can work with the Infrastructure group on storage solutions or the Applications Development group for data visualization. Outside of ASCTech, we can work with the campus data management librarian or with many other groups on data regulation requirements. Outside of the university, we can work with cloud services such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
