Computer and Peripheral Hardware Purchases
OIT will provide quotes for computers and a number of peripheral hardware needs such as monitors, printers, external storage devices, etc.

What's Included
- Please review the EHE Computer Standards for computer quotes
- A member of the Service Desk will research and provide a quote for the peripheral hardware you need based on your requirements and the equipment OIT will support.
- OIT will work with asset coordinators within each department to determine who will pay for the cost of the computer and/or the peripheral hardware should it be approved.
Eligibility
This service is available for all faculty and staff of the College. The following types of equipment are considered eligible for this service:
- Computers (please see the EHE Computer Standards list)
- Computer Monitors
- Desktop Printers
- Scanners
- External Hard Drives*
- Other external storage such as Flash/Thumb Drives
- Projectors
- Some audio visual equipment (call OIT with specific questions)
Not Eligible
Only computer related peripherals are eligible. Furniture, microscopes, appliances or any scientific lab equipment are outside our scope.
Special Considerations
- *External Hard drives must have a justification document and approval from the College's Security Coordinator prior to quoting or purchasing
