RESOURCE: Changing Capture Duration before or during a Universal Capture Classroom recording

Summary

If you plan to use Echo360 to record a class session in a Pharmacy classroom, you must ensure the capture duration is set correctly.

Body

If you are planning to record a class session in any Pharmacy classroom space with EchoVideo Universal Capture Classroom capabilities, you will need to make sure that the Capture Duration is set properly. To do this, check the following:

  • When you first launch Universal Capture Classroom, you will see a screen that asks you to set up capture details. One of those details is called Capture Duration (minutes):

  • The default is 60 minutes, meaning your recording will automatically stop at one hour regardless of how long your class session goes. So, if you know you will be recording a longer session, input the appropriate time here.
  • NOTE: You can also change the capture duration setting during your recording. If you realize you may run longer than anticipated, for example, you can use the plus (+) and add 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes to your scheduled recording time. You can do this more than once if needed.

If you need assistance while in one of the Pharmacy spaces, you can always refer to the custom desktop wallpaper that our IT team has set up. Part of this wallpaper's text goes over setting up capture duration.
