Room Technology

Does room technology have an issue? Think a learning space’s technology needs an update? EHE’s Office of Information Technology implements and maintains technology in over 48 learning spaces across the college. We provide a range of functions, including room design, coordination of new technology installations, display and projectors, podium computers, wireless casting capabilities, room audio/visual systems, digital signage systems, project management and coordination with OSU Facilities and outside A/V contractors, and general troubleshooting and support of EHE’s classroom technologies.

What's Included?

An Academic Technology team member will act quickly to troubleshoot and fix issues with room technologies and partner with you to determine tech needs for your space, which may include (but not limited to):

  • Planning and design of EHE learning spaces and integrated technology
  • Planning, installation, and maintenance of digital signage systems
  • Planning, installation, and maintenance of classroom technologies, including podium computer, room cameras and microphones, projector, A/V system, and associated room controls

Eligibility?

Anyone using an EHE-maintained space (classroom, conference rooms, computer lab, digital signage) can submit a service request for any room technology. EHE staff and administrators can request a consultation to update or install room technologies.

We’re here to support in the effective and efficient use of classroom technologies to elevate your work and teaching.

Timeline

Troubleshooting and support requests will be resolved as soon as possible, with a maximum 3-day resolution period. We will connect with you on all other room technology-related requests within 1 week. Based on need, time varies on completing room updates and installations.
