Software Review and Approval

Request purchase of software license or access to existing site-licensed software.  

How Do I Get Started?

If you're eligible to use this service, simply contact the OIT Service Desk.

What's Included

  • OIT will determine if the software already exists in the College and if so will help with the installation and licensing of it on your OSU computer.
  • If it's new software that is not already in use somewhere in the College, OIT will contact the vendor for licensing options, provide quotes and if the purchase is approved, help with installation on your OSU computer.

Eligibility

This service is available for all faculty and staff of the College.


Special Considerations

  • EHE OIT is required to maintain records of all software licenses installed on EHE computers. We are audited on these records annually.
