Mapping a Network Drive (Windows 11)

SUMMARY
Instructions for how to map a network drive on a Windows 11 PC.

 

If you are connecting from outside the College of Pharmacy network, please connect to NetExtender before completing the following steps.

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. In the left navigation pane, right-click This PC and choose Map Network Drive
  3. Select a drive letter and enter the network path next to Folder
    1. Network path will look something like "\\rxfilestore\groups\..." or "\\cifs-hosted.it.ohio-state.edu\cop\..."
  4. Optionally, check the Reconnect at sign-in box.
  5. Select Connect using different credentials
  6. Enter your username as "pharmacy\name.#" and your university password when prompted.
