Service Overview

• Request purchase of hardware using university funds, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals

What Is Included

• COP Technology Services will consult with users to help them determine the appropriate hardware to meet their needs and assist with the quoting and purchasing process from approved university vendors.

Eligibility

• Available to College of Pharmacy faculty and staff who have university funding sources.

Standard Availability

• Service available 24/7; requests fulfilled during normal business hours.

Cost

• Cost is determined by the specific hardware requested. In some cases, computers and peripherals may be funded by the COP IT budget for faculty and staff. If you are unsure, please submit a request and IT will discuss options with you.

Special Considerations

• Many hardware categories (including desktops, laptops, tablets, and monitors) have standard approved configurations that meet the vast majority of needs. Deviations from standards will only be considered with a valid use case.
• All trackable hardware will be delivered to the COP IT office for inventory and asset tagging.
