  • Support for computers that control research instrumentation

What Is Included

  • COP Technology Services will provide support for computer hardware and software that is used to control research instrumentation.

Eligibility

  • Available to College of Pharmacy researchers.

Standard Availability

  • Service available 24/7; requests fulfilled during normal business hours.

Cost

  • Free to researchers in the College of Pharmacy. Requests involving purchase of hardware, software, or vendor support may incur a cost.

Special Considerations

  • Requests for instrument repair should be directed to Dmitriy Uchenik, Director of Instrumentation.
  • COP IT will make a best effort to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues, but we are not the experts on how the instrument is used. Researchers will be expected to be available to contact the instrument vendor when additional information or support is needed.
  • COP IT strongly recommends that researchers maintain active warranty/support contracts with instrument vendors. Without vendor support, our options are often limited.
