VMware Horizon Client - Memory Drain When Connected to EPIC

SUMMARY
VMware Horizon Client may consume high RAM while connected to EPIC, which is causing other applications to crash or throw memory errors.

 

To reduce memory usage while using VMware Horizon Client:

1. Open Horizon client

2. Navigate to Settings

3. Click the VMware Blast tab on the left side of the window

4. Turn off Allow H.264 Decoding

5. Completely shutdown and restart Horizon Client
