Software Support

Service Description:

ASCTech will assist with installing software and any software issues.

Eligibility: 

Available on all ASC-owned machines with ASC-provisioned software. For OCIO software, please see ocio.osu.edu/software or contact 8Help at 614-688-4357 or 8help@osu.edu.

Standard Availability:

Service available 24/7; requests fulfilled during normal business hours. Please be aware that all software needing to be installed classrooms/labs needs to be brought to ASCTech's attention at least two weeks before the start of autumn semester. New software is only installed in classrooms/labs during the summer. Updates are installed over autumn, winter, and summer breaks.

What Is Included: 

  • Installation of software.
  • Initial diagnosis and repair of software that is malfunctioning.

Cost: 

No associated cost.
