The Ohio State University has expanded its services with Microsoft’s Office 365 platform to include OneDrive for Business, a cloud-based solution for storing, syncing and sharing files. (Note: This service will fully replace BuckeyBox by December 2021)


Security assessment, education, and awareness of campus security requirements, policies, and guidelines. Includes contract reviews and risk assessments.


OIT will assist with getting data ports activated, repaired or installed


The university has partnered with Qualtrics, Inc. to make the Qualtrics Research Suite available to the entire university community. Training videos are available online and Qualtrics, Inc. provides all customer support.

Request Access to Existing Shared Drives on the EHE Servers


The College of Education and Human Ecology supports the installation and maintenance for digital signage display. Designated persons along with OIT staff will have access to a cloud portal where they can create and update content for public display.


Offerings relating to institutional policy or compliance guidelines and requirements. Includes support for audit processes.


Tickets related to the data verification process for programs who submit assessments to Tk20.


Offerings that respond to, remediate, and seek to prevent security incidents and vulnerabilities.


Service requests related to the APL Applications suite.


Webinars and virtual events allow you to deliver content – stories, interviews, panels, lectures, interactive sessions – to an audience through an online platform such as Zoom. Utilize online events to connect with your target audience, engage participants in discussion and question-answer sessions with invited guests, interview experts in the field, deliver informative panel sessions virtually, and more! Work with us to register the event, get marketing support, and find technical resources and support.

Sponsored Guest Accounts provide individuals without an EHE affiliation access to university resources for the purpose of conducting university business or engaging in non-credit educational activities. Resources include OSUwireless, Carmen, OSU email, BuckeyeBox, libraries*, etc.


Do you have a justifiable need for administrator access to an EHE device? These are elevated access accounts that grant the ability to preform tasks beyond the normal user level.

OIT maintains backups of all file servers and all data stored on shared networks. Deleted or lost files can be restored and previous versions of files can be restored as long as it is within the last 30 days


Internal service to documents anything related to the infrastructure managed by our Systems Administrators.


EHE OIT will submit a purchase order for computer and all the peripheral hardware purchases such as monitors, printers, etc.


Consultation requests for software development projects.


Note: This service only needs to be requested if HR does not show you as an EHE employee.

As an active employee of Ohio State University you have the ability to request an EHE account from OIT. This account can be used to access college resources, such as shared network locations or classroom podium computers
