Do you have a justifiable need for administrator access to an EHE device? These are elevated access accounts that grant the ability to preform tasks beyond the normal user level.


Sponsored Guest Accounts provide individuals without an EHE affiliation access to university resources for the purpose of conducting university business or engaging in non-credit educational activities. Resources include OSUwireless, Carmen, OSU email, BuckeyeBox, libraries*, etc.


Requests for equipment loans such as laptops, cameras, tripods, recording devices, projectors, etc.


Have old, unused technology? OIT can facilitate the proper disposal of surplus technology. You’ll need a list of the assets and their locations prior to pick up. Contact the Service Desk to get started.


OIT operates several student computing labs that are sometimes also used as classrooms. These spaces have a large number of computers, with the intent of providing one computer per student in the room. Labs may be purpose built so be sure to check the room listing to find a lab that will suit your needs.

Does room technology have an issue? Think a learning space’s technology needs an update? EHE’s Office of Information Technology implements and maintains technology in over 48 learning spaces across the college. We provide a range of functions, including room design, coordination of new technology installations, display and projectors, podium computers, wireless casting capabilities, room audio/visual systems, digital signage systems, project management and coordination with OSU Facilities and outside A/V contractors, and general troubleshooting and support of EHE’s classroom technologies.

The College of Education and Human Ecology supports the installation and maintenance for digital signage display. Designated persons along with OIT staff will have access to a cloud portal where they can create and update content for public display.

In your journey to become the best educator possible, the Educator Preparation Unit utilizes an electronic portfolio with the Tk20 online assessment tool as the platform. Tk20 enables the educator programs to collect, monitor, and analyze your progress toward meeting state and national standards for licensure.
